Report an error in a calculator or guide
Accuracy is the point of this site, so error reports go to the top of the list. To help us check quickly, please include:
- The page address (URL).
- The numbers and units you entered, or use Copy link to this result on the calculator and paste the link.
- The result you expected and why: a product data sheet, a supplier's figure or your own calculation.
Confirmed errors are fixed promptly, and the page's review date is updated. See our editorial standards for how corrections work.

Missing a shape, a material or a unit? Tell us what you were trying to work out and the measurements you had.

We can't give project-specific engineering advice, approve designs or confirm what your local building code requires. For footings, foundations, retaining walls and other structural work, speak to a licensed engineer or your local building department. For prices, ask your local ready-mix plant, supplier or contractor.
